TAMPA, Fla. (WFLA) -- A cold front is passing through the entire Tampa Bay area this morning and will give way to a beautiful, cooler weekend.

A few quick showers are possible through the morning as the front slides south. All the rain and clouds will clear by midday and cooler and drier air will filter in throughout the afternoon. Temperatures will top out around 80 degrees.

Temperatures will drop quicker this evening and it will feel cool with lower humidity. Lows tonight will be much cooler but seasonable for mid-November with morning lows in the 50s.

After the cool start, a nice weekend is in store with afternoon temperatures around 80 degrees, low humidity and dry conditions.

The next big weather maker will come for the middle of next week with the tropical moisture from Tropical Storm Sara merging with a strong cold front in the Gulf.

The cold front is forecast to come through Wednesday with showers and thunderstorms and should bring another nice cool down late next week.

Tropical Storm Sara is currently hugging the coastline of Honduras and will meander slowly west toward the Yucatan peninsula through the weekend. Forecast models no longer have Sara surviving the land interaction and dissipate the storm by Monday.

The unorganized tropical moisture will be pulled north by a cold front and aid in rain chances for the Tampa Bay area next Wednesday, but an organized tropical system is no longer anticipated to move through Florida next week.
