Bucs' Rachaad White celebrates local students’ completion of financial literacy program

TAMPA, Fla. (WFLA) — Financial education at an early age can help young people lower debt and increase savings and credit scores as they mature into adulthood, according to the FDIC.

To help local youth in the Tampa Bay area start on the right track, NFL running back Rachaad White is promoting financial literacy in partnership with Pathward®, N.A., a U.S.-based financial empowerment company driven by its purpose to power financial inclusion, Big Brothers Big Sisters of Tampa Bay, and Webb Middle School

In early October, White joined students and representatives from Pathward and Big Brothers Big Sisters of Tampa Bay to kick off Financial Fundamentals powered by Pathward

On Nov. 12, White, Pathward and Big Brothers Big Sisters will celebrate with students who completed the program at Pin Chasers Veterans Bowling Alley.
